Stephanie Rios is the Director of the Personal Injury Department at the Law Offices of James A. Welcome. Her legal journey began at Naugatuck Valley Community College, where she was the first in her family to attend college, earning an Associate degree in Criminal Justice. Although she initially aspired to be a domestic violence prosecutor, her career path led her to a different yet impactful role in the legal field.

With more than 19 years of experience, Stephanie has developed a deep understanding of workers’ compensation, personal injury, and medical malpractice. Her role as Director involves collaborating closely with attorneys and the personal injury team to ensure comprehensive legal support that encompasses research, case analysis, document preparation, and client communication. Her approach not only aims for optimal outcomes for clients but also emphasizes exceptional customer service, which she regards as her greatest satisfaction.

Outside the office, Stephanie is a devoted mother who enjoys boating, hiking, and visiting wineries. She cherishes family moments and strives to be a positive role model for her children. Her community involvement extends to roles as a justice of the peace and a baseball coach. Stephanie also has a keen interest in interior decor and continues to pursue new learning opportunities, particularly in boating, which she finds both peaceful and fulfilling.
