I’m Kevin Mejia. I’ve had the chance to work in a few different places, and each one has taught me something important. I started out in retail, where I learned how to connect with all kinds of people, and later joined the inventory and quality assurance team at a large distribution center. Along the way, I picked up the habits that stick with me today — paying attention to the details, staying organized, and always looking for smarter ways to get things done.
I’m passionate about technology and I’m always thinking about how to use it to make tasks faster and more efficient. Right now I’m in my second year at Capital Community College in Hartford, where I’m pursuing my dream of becoming an architect. I also hold a certification in AutoCAD and Parametric Design, which I use for my personal projects and continue to build on as I grow in the field.
I’m originally from Cuenca, Ecuador, and Spanish is my native language. I genuinely enjoy helping people, and I try to bring patience and respect into every interaction. No matter who I’m working with, I stay calm and composed — I believe that’s the best way to truly understand someone and offer real support. I’m motivated by learning, exploring new experiences, and every now and then, taking a risk that pushes me forward.
Outside of work, I love staying active. You’ll usually find me playing soccer, kayaking, hiking, swimming, or running. I love to travel and discover new places whenever I can. In my free time, I work on personal projects that keep me inspired and motivated to keep learning. I’m also a big animal lover and someone who finds joy in the simple things — a good adventure, a fresh idea, or a chance to help someone out
