Immigration Attorney
Kimberly Anderson has more than fifteen years of experience practicing immigration law, representing individuals, families, and employers across a broad range of immigration matters. Prior to joining the firm, she represented clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the Immigration Courts, with a focus on family-based immigration, removal defense, waivers, VAWA self-petitions, naturalization, and adjustment of status.
Kimberly began her career as an immigration paralegal, where she worked with Fortune 500 companies on immigrant and nonimmigrant employment-based visa matters. After law school, she concentrated her practice on business immigration, including L-1, H-1B, O-1, TN, EB-1, EB-2 National Interest Waiver, EB-1B, PERM labor certifications, and experience with EB-5 and EB-2 petitions. She has represented multinational corporations, startups, and individual professionals in industries such as technology, healthcare, and retail.
Her combined experience in family-based and employment-based immigration allows her to approach cases with a comprehensive and balanced perspective.
Kimberly earned her Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas, where she served as a research assistant to the immigration law professor and received the Dallas Bar Association Employment Law Scholarship. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia.
